Hefeweizen

fin-Franz-Hefeweizen I am smitten by this type of beer. Of course I like just about every beer I have ever tasted including some home brew that did not even agree with its own container much less my internal one. But what the hell I pride myself on trying different brews and enjoying them as much as I can. Hefeweizen is probably the only beer I have truly wanted to hand craft until I found Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse and my search ended .Why try to make a beer when my taste buds screamed this is it.

I am a simple man with extravagant beer tastes and have come to the conclusion you will pay for beer that tastes good and when you want to get lit up drink your favorite bar brand, mines Miller High Life. Well during my search I read all the articles on the fru-fru beer sites about Hefeweizen tasting like spice and bananas (what the Heck bananas) and after reading this I began to taste the monkey meal as I drank my favorite Hefe. This did not put me off the beer just raised my curiosity as to why would beer taste like bananas. The Ester Amyl acetate is the culprit, this pesky configuration of molecules is the same one as in bananas. You may ask yourself, how does it get here.

Well do like I did, look it up. You may find a few intriguing beers to try and of course you may get freaking bored of all the magic brew talk. But as long as is associated with beer it’s all good. Here are some links to get you started, remember to always surf responsibly and don’t spill your beer on the key board.
