Thomas Creek Red

fin-thomas-creek-red-ale I resisted the urge to purchase a sixer of these while buying some "dogs" the other day..I was interested in the brews because they were made right up the road in Greenville, SC..  I'm always partial to hometown breweries; One, it supports our state's economy-Two, it lets you know good spews can be made locally..This one, my friends, is right on time...

I had a little bitch with the waiter at first..When I inquired info on the brew,,he gave me a bullshit line, you know, the classic virgin's out.."It's kinda smooth, light, you know, I'd say it's smooth, you know, real smooth". I was like dude, you're talking to a friggin' damn near drunk.. Don't give me some line of crap when I'm asking a serious question..If you don't know, ASK somebody!! I ordered a damn ying-yang--putting my boy Thomas Creek on hold for the moment..When the 17-year-old came back wanting to replenish our spew-waters, I MADE him go find out...I wasn't absolutely crazy about the idea when I found it was a red they had on tap..But, I had the youngster bring one out..Reflecting on the moment,,DANG,,that's a good red beer..

I ordered another, and as I took the final swig,,I felt it..Yep, this was a dank..I was grinning with satisfaction while I waited on my next..It was great on tap, with a good, kicking buzz...It wasn't too heavy,,kind of "Killiansy", but in a good way..$4.25 per pint..Worth every cent..Will definitely pick up a sixer of these ales or lagers by TC..
