Fiddler's Green IPA

ABV N/A
IBU N/A
Plato N/A
Seasonal No
I can't find a commercial description on this one. Also I saw some folks saying it was made by Matt brewing in the north Eastern US. My bottle says its made by Fiddler's Green Brewing Company in Portland Oregon.
It poured a really clear gold and I left a inch of beer in the bottle, swirled it around and poured it into the glass, and the beer turned a hazy golden copper color. Not much info on this beer, so I don't know if it is unfiltered or just settled because I have had it for a while.
The head is of white and sticks well to the sides of the glass, it is not very thick though. The smell is strong as I swirl the glass around, I can smell the beer from a foot away. It smells like a grapefruit covered in sugar. Very hoppy smelling with notes of sweet malt. The smell is pretty good. The beer stings your tongue as you taste it and is followed by an almost chemical sweetness like cheap candy. I like hops and I got to give it to this one it tastes of hops. The finish is piney and bitter but, not lingering. I have mixed feelings on this one.
the rating
smell (1-10) 7
taste (1-50) 30
finish (1-10) 5
bang for the buck (1-30) 15
Total 57 out of 100
Pack rating (enjoyability): Its ok , but I cant find much Info on it so not knowing the ABV sets my ratings lower. Its good overall and I would buy 6 at a reasonable price. It would make a good standby.
